Is your benefit plan audit ready?  HR professionals wear numerous hats, not the least of which is often "plan administrator" for the company's 401(k), 403(b), pension or profit sharing plan.  With limited exceptions, every plan is required to file a tax return - a Form 5500, and small plans with more than 120 eligible participants are required to have an audit.  In this session we will discuss complying with DOL and IRS reporting requirements; managing fiduciary responsibility, maintaining internal controls; and making the audit process easier on yourself and your staff. Even if a plan is not currently required to have an audit, all plans should be "audit ready," and we will discuss why.

Who should attend:  All HR professionals who are directly or indirectly responsible for the company's 401(k), 403(b), pension or profit sharing plans.

Presented by: Robinson, Grimes & Company, P.C.   RGC has been auditing and preparing Forms 5500 for employee benefit plans for more than 20 years.  Their team of CPA's and professionals audit approximately 40 plans a year, with plan sizes ranging from approx. 100 to 10,000 participants and $500K to $400 million dollars in assets.

PresentersChristopher A. Miller, CPA, and Daria A. Cruzen, CPA, MBA.  Christopher Miller is RGC's employee benefit plan audit partner.  He has been auditing employee benefits plans for 20 years and has successfully represented clients before the DOL.  Daria Cruzen, audit manager, has been with RGC 9+ years and has been auditing EBPs for 8 years.
