Annual CEO Luncheon with Guest Speaker Nancy Blaich, CEO of the Pastoral Institute

Nancy Blaich was named Executive Director /CEO of the Pastoral Institute effective January, 2015. Most recently, Blaich served as the CEO for the Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care in Austin, Texas where she helped lead substantial growth during her tenure and launched one of the most successful peer-to-peer veterans counseling and support programs in the country. She also serves as a Consultant for the Samaritan Institute providing board and executive leadership consultation for a network of Samaritan Centers throughout Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida. Prior to her position at the Samaritan Center in Austin,
Nancy was the Clinical Director for the Phoenix House Academy, a residential treatment center for adolescents, where she provided clinical oversight for a staff of 42 employees. Nancy has over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience with behavior health organizations, including considerable success in fundraising and development.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Blaich holds a Master of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelors of Science in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations from Oklahoma State University. Additionally, she is certified in the Management of Non-Profit Organizations through the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Texas.
