Presenter:  Rachel Mast, Community Outreach & Resource Planning Specialist, US Department of Labor, Wage & Hour Division, Atlanta District Office

Ms. Mast provides resources and compliance assistance related to Wage and Hour laws for community organizations, employer groups, and trade associations throughout Georgia.  She received her bachelor's degrees in International Business and Spanish at the College of Charleston.  She also completed a master's degree in Public Administration at Georgia State University.

Her presentation will provide an update and examination of the law as it relates to Reasons for Leave, Types of Leave, Methods of Applying Leave, Substituting Paid Leave, Employer's and Employee's Rights and Responsibilities, Military Qualifying Exigency Leave, and Enforcement & Compliance.  A Q&A session will follow the presentation.  SHRM & HRCI recertification credits (1) have been approved.
